This saves valuable time as you need not have to peel the citrus fruit first.

The Citrus Juicer attachment comes with a Drain Spout and Bowl Spout for effective juicing. The juicer attachment is fully dishwasher safe. We had no trouble dismantling the parts and as the instruction manual tells you, ensure you place the attachment parts on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Making the most of the juicer:

Though the amount of juice you could make actually depends on what you’re juicing and the amount of juice that the fruit or veggie contains, you can maximize the juice yield by following the simple instructions provided in the manual. Hard fruits and vegetables (including celery, beets, carrots, etc) can be fed through with a hard uneven motion. If you are juicing leafy vegetables, they need to be rolled up and processed for optimum juicing. Softer fruits and vegetables do not require much of an effort and slow even motion when you are pushing down the chute will do to give you maximum yield, provided you remove the skins completely.

Test Results:

Our test results does show up more amount of juice extract from less produce with only the dry pulp left in the pulp collector. This means no annoying mess while you are processing, while cleaning up is quick and painless.

Dishwasher safe parts:

Make sure you follow the instructions for dismantling the various parts of the juicer provided in the instruction  manual. The juicer cover, plunger, clutch and bowl only require rinsing. The stainless steel blades must be washed under running water, preferably with a stiff brush. The strainer basket needs to be washed under cold running water. The stainless steel parts of the juicer are dishwasher proof. The plastic parts or accessories need to be placed on the top rack of your dishwasher.

Instruction manual:

The juicer is supplied with a UK 3 pin plug, alongside an instruction manual plus some interesting recipes you can try with the Pro PJC44. The manual gives you a few interesting ideas on the use of the left over pulp and now you have good reasons for not throwing away the pulp after you are done with your juicing.

Verdict:

The Pro PJC44 Juicer has all the juicing capabilities on its palette and its all in one package is an interesting proportion for its price range. From juicing limes, grapefruits to citrus fruits, the juicer does it all in a jiffy. The resultant juice is indeed nutritious and considerably pulp-free. The fact that it is very easy to assemble makes this juicer a delight to own and run (obviously without the pain of the extended cleanup).
